why inclusive design?
We feel traditional design thinking toolsets are not always inclusive, nor do they acknowledge the root of social inequities like poverty, racism, ablelism, and sexism. We aim to make issues of power visible by tackling them head-on before the design process even begins.

A word from our founder, Meg Kemp
Alma Major was founded in 2019 with a desire to influence a world where creative power is distributed more fairly. As founder of Alma Major, I bring expertise in behavioral science, design thinking, technology, and mission-based work.
I am a passionate advocate for social equity with experience in enterprise creative strategy, humanitarian technology, advocacy, UX/UI design, and user research with training from Temple University and Johns Hopkins University.
